With over 35 years of petrochemical experience and an economy decimated by the oil crisis, Johnny Darbonne Sr. began offering what he had needed as a Chemical Plant Supervisor: "A leak detection service that is committed to Quality, Reliability and Efficiency".

In 1983, the Darbonne staff included Johnny, who made sales calls and handled each job and his wife Ethel, who managed the office. Within a year, there was an occasional employee.

By 1988, sons Johnny Jr and Dan assumed the responsibility of co-management. They brought an expertise in electronics and computers to the DSI leadership.

What began as a partnership between husband and wife in 1983, has since evolved into a nationally recognized leader in the field of Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Testing. With a client of oil and gas, petrochemical, paper and manufacturing companies to its credit, DSI brings the experience you require, with the quality, reliability and efficiency you have come to expect.
